Bupa By You – Step 1: Choose core product
Choose from one of three core products:
Comprehensive: For people looking for total peace of mind, the comprehensive health care option provides full services for diagnosis, treatment and aftercare.
Prompt Diagnosis: Focussing on the latest test and diagnosis techniques, this option provides prompt access and reassurance that scans are available whenever you need them.
Treatment and Care: Ideal for those who are content to have diagnosis provided by the NHS and then receive treatment and aftrcare from Bupa.
Bupa By You – Step 2
Based on your choices in Step 1, you can choose additional options that suit your circumstances. Options include:
Cancer Cover: For people who choose Prompt Diagnosis, Cancer Cover can be added on. For this, Bupa offer comprehensive private cancer cover at every stage of treatment. This includes access to the latest proven cancer drugs plus less well known treatments.
Active Cover or Fit and Active Cover: This offers can be added to Step 1 Prompt Diagnosis, and provides cover for eligible consultant fees, tests, scans, treatment and aftercare relating to muscle, joint and bone conditions. There is an annual cardiovascular fitness check at a specialist Bupa Centre to make sure you are in great health.
Scan and Test Cover: for people choosing Step 1 Treatment and Care, Scan and Test cover ensures that you will receive prompt access to the latest medical tests and scans.
Bupa By You – Step 3
In Step 3, Bupa health care customer can add further options to their cover.
Cancer Assist: A sum of £2000 will be paid to you to spend how you wish in the event of a newly diagnosed cancer condition.
Dental and Optical Cover: Help cover the cost of trips to the dentist.
Travel Cover: Have the peace of mind that you are covered even when abroad. This cover comes with unlimited emergency medical expenses, 24-hour travel assistance helpline and repatriation if medically necessary.
Complementary Therapies Cover: Receive up to £350 per year per year for acupuncture, osteopathy and chiropractic treatment when carried out by a Bupa recognised complementary therapy practictioner.
Bupa By You – Step 4
Bupa offer a number of additional ways to customise your Bupa By You product to suit your budget. Premiums can be reduced by changing the hospital access that you choose as well as adding an excess to help reduce the cost of your cover.
